Dalaman Airport – Havaş Buses

From Dalaman Airport, Havaş airport buses run to and from Marmaris supposedly in conjunction with all arriving and departing flights.

In Marmaris, buses arrive and depart from the main bus terminal (otogar), and stop at Gökova, Köyceğiz, Ortaca (for Dalyan) and Dalaman Town along the way.

Notify the driver, and he will stop at any point you wish.

For the return trip to the airport, the bus departs Marmaris 3 hours before flight departure time.

If there are several people in your traveling party, you may save money by renting a car.

Lots of bus lines run to Marmaris. Most buses from the north and west stop at Muğla, where you may have to change buses to reach other destinations, such as Fethiye. Those coming from the east along the coast (such as from Antalya) may go directly to Marmaris.

Minibuses run frequently along the coast between Marmaris and Köyceğiz and Ortaca, north to Muğla, and south and east to Hisarönü and Datça.

The easiest way to travel between Greece and Turkey is on a ferry from a Greek island to the Turkish mainland (or vice-versa).

Ferries (motorboats and hydrofoils) depart from at least 6 Greek islands to 10 ports in Turkey.
