Kızkumu

The bay, which is believed to come from the legend told about the daughter of the King of Bybassos, is located in Orhaniye, 30 km west of Marmaris. The reputation of Kızkumu, which you can easily reach by minibuses departing from Marmaris, stems from the shallowness formed by the sands, which progresses to the middle of the bay. You can reach the castle ruins, which are thought to belong to the Kingdom of Bybassos and located on the island in the middle of the bay, by boats you rent from the shore.
